Sally Varney qualified from the University of Brighton as a State Registered Chiropodist in 1989 having obtained a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine with distinctions in practical chiropody and literary research. This was followed with the award of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Podiatry in 1990.

Sally Varney has extensive clinical experience as clinical lead in Foot Health Education within the National Health Service and has practiced extensively within private practice from 1990 in Cambridge and since setting up the Sally Varney Clinic here in Bristol in 1997. Her role has encompassed specialist training for fellow practitioners as conference coordinator for Post Graduate Courses to include:

  • Podopaediatrics  (children) in Biomechanics
  • Practical Biomechanical Assessment
  • Sports Injuries
  • Biomechanical Evaluation with Prescription writing for Casted Orthotic Devices
